Occasional I like playing with monochromatic style pieces. Although most of my work is pretty vibrant assortments of color, occasionally I like to drift into single hues depending n the mood of the piece. This piece screamed dark and moody colors. As I continue my women in hats series I call ‘Eye-Lids’ a friend of mine shoot this wonderful image of two women in hats that I just had to paint with his permission. I call it ENVY. The hat design is by Philip Treacy London, they shared with me a number of photos from their collection I use as scrap.
