One quite evening she sat at her computer with a large glass of Chardonnay clicking through Pinterest doing a little fantasy shopping. She came across a fantastic polka dot coat. She wanted that coat. Hours of on-line research and two more glasses of wine lead nowhere.

Days passed by, as did her obsession for the polka dot coat. Months later on a trip to Arizona, catching up with some old friends, she wondered into a vintage clothing store, Fashion by Robert Black. Riffling through racks of beautiful cloths she was awed, “The Coat!” she screamed “The polka dot coat”. Although not in the same color, but it was definitely the same coat. She could hardly wait to get it home to the city.

The evenings were still cool enough for warm clothes but the season was short as summer was gaining steam. Her first opportunity arouse as some friends were gathering for dinner in Tribeca. She carefully unpacked her new possession, called a cab, and found a great accessory polka dot hat. She strolled outside awaiting her ride when she noticed, from the corner of her eye, a dog, a spotted mutt staring at her and her glorious jacket. The dog adorned a similar golden coat of color with large black spots, even was wearing a spotted collar that matched her hat. She had never seen the dog before but it just looked at her in wonderment. She finally blurted out loud, “Don’t you know that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery”. The spotted mutt wagged his tail.
