Here is the final grouping from my little exercise of painting 12 chairs over the span of 12 days, one painting a day for 12 days. Each piece is stared by a different wooden chair, each with 12 colorful dots. This was more a fun challenge to myself than anything else. I made a promise I would post them no matter the outcome. (sorry about the low quality iPhone photos).

I started by drawing each chair on separate sheets; the colored dots were done in watercolor as well as the color accents to the chairs. The chair drawings were then transferred to the painted sheets in various layers of chemical washes. The story is too long to tell but thank you for at least sharing in my experiment.
