She wears feathers in her hair… I did this piece some time ago, after seeing an interesting fashion photo shoot, one of my first in an ongoing study of women in hats. The photographer granted me permission to take what she had done and recreate it in my own style and technique. The intense colors and the special red feather make this piece sing. 30×24 inches; mixed media on water color paper.
